[VIDEO] A Reflection from an Unseen Corvette Has People Thinking there’s a Glitch in the Matrix

If you can’t have a real C8 Corvette, then maybe the next best thing is looking at the reflection of one.

Not really, but it’s as good an explanation as any for this weird 30-second clip involving a new Corvette that’s gone viral on social media.

The brief clip shows a “glitch in the Matrix” moment – the apparent reflection of an orange C8 in the window of the Boston House of Pizza Restaurant in Fresno, California.

Only thing is, when the videographer, a guy named Eddie who uses the name @breaknpop on social media, pans around the area, there is no orange Corvette anywhere to be seen.

“I seriously don’t see that car anywhere,” Eddie says in the clip. “Where’s the car?”

More than 5,000 people have since responded with their own explanation of the Matrix moment. We tend to believe it was just done with AI or some other computer trickery. Another explanation is that it’s a vinyl image of an orange C8 attached to the inside of the window.

Other explanations from the public?

“It’s parked in front of that black SUV.”

“In front of the black Mercedes you can see the roof through the windshield.”

“These comments are making my brain itch—It’s a reflection from behind him.”

“The question is, where are the reflections of the cars parked in front of the windows?”

“The red cars behind it aren’t there, either.”

“It’s the Silver Impala right in front identifying as an Orange Corvette.”

Supporting our theory that this is just a ploy for 15 minutes of fame, one person asks Eddie: “Why don’t you get out of the car and go over there to have a better look?”

In case you’re one of the people who have never watched “The Matrix,” the 1999 film suggested the world is just one giant computer simulation. Since then, the phrase, a glitch in the Matrix, has come to mean anything that isn’t logical and fools our brains.
