[VIDEO] Corvette Engineer Cody Buckley Shares More E-Ray Adventures including Ice Racing in Aspen

During last year’s NCM Bash, first time presenter Cody Buckley whose daytime job is being a development engineer on new Corvette E-Ray, brought a fresh perspective to Corvette Museum’s annual get-together after sharing the behind the scenes story of how the Corvette Team put the new performance hybrid on the ice at Rockefeller Center for its big introduction on the Today Show. Cody brings a huge amount of excitement to his presentations, and we were glad to see that he was returning once again to Bowling Green for this year’s Michelin NCM Bash.

And at the Bash, Cody didn’t disappoint as he shared his latest exploits in the Corvette E-Ray which included ice racing at the prestigious F.A.T. Ice Race held in Aspen and sponsored by Mobil 1. Cody shares the story of how he ran the course with the car literally sideways and yet the E-Ray’s All Wheel Drive was there to keep the car moving forward. He brought plenty of video to share and it’s a lot of fun with his enthusiasm turned up to 11!

Cody will soon be embarking on another adventure with the Corvette E-Ray by appearing in the One Lap America competition which kicks off this week. Cody and Michelin-wrapped E-Ray will be at the NCM Motorsports Park as part of the competition on May 8th. Believe it or not, Cody said he’s hoping for rain, because if it rains, the E-Ray will crush the competition! Those aren’t my words…that’s what Cody told us!
