[VIDEO] Lingenfelter is Building the First Supercharged 2024 Corvette E-Ray (and it Sounds Magnificent!)

The first wave of customer E-Rays have been hitting dealership floors for a few weeks now. With that, it’s no surprise that the aftermarket has already begun doing their thing as well. We’ve already seen this E-Ray on the dyno spinning up 630 ft-lbs. of torque and 573 whp.

Last week our friends over at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering teased us with a series of social media posts showing the same 2024 E-Ray making the rounds as it receives a forced induction makeover.

The series kicks off with a few shots of the Torch Red E-Ray at Paragon Performance before it heads over to the LPE Wixom facility.

Next, we get the first video which is a quick teaser with a short walk around the Torch Red over black E-Ray parked outside the Lingenfelter, Wixom facility. We don’t get to see a whole lot, but we did note that this “One Like None” Corvette is sporting the elusive carbon fiber wheels.

Video #2 gives a peek at the E-ray on the SEMA Garage dyno for a baseline run followed by some shots showing the removal of the LT2 engine. No dyno numbers are given, but we suspect that LPE will share them soon.

The 3rd video shows the completed LT2 sporting the Magnuson supercharger on top as it goes back up into the rear of the car. It wraps up with a look at the LT2 tucked snuggly in its new sleeping quarters. Other newly installed bits include a Fabspeed Motorsport exhaust, Eventuri Cold Air Intake Airbox, and several components from Paragon Performance.

The final installment is the longest of the 4 and shows us the first cold start plus a peek at the engine under its clear cover. We also get to ride along with LPE’s COO, Mark Rapson, and get his impressions of this incredible machine. He calls it the best C8 he’s driven. LPE says the next stop will be back to the dyno for all the post-install results. We’re sure all those dirty details will be shared soon, and we’ll pass them along as soon as they’re posted.

  1. Lingenfelter already hit 700hp /600tq with the LT2. Combined with the motor, that’s going to be at least as much total power as the ZR1 will have. Not at all surprised it could be deemed “the best ever”.
