If you’re ready hit the road for a next level driving adventure with your Corvette, our friends at Two Lane America are planning this year’s excursions that are guaranteed to create memories that will last a life-time. We’re talking about driving your Corvette (or other vehicle) on America’s Mother Road – Route 66 – over a two-week period from Chicago to LA and hitting all the cool sights in between. Two Lane America handles all the planning with tours available for individuals, couples, small groups, and even Corvette Clubs, so book today and get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
Two Lane America will have a booth at the Corvette Expo 2024 this weekend at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Representatives and former Route 66 trip alumni including members of the Bluegrass Corvette Club who have toured Route 66 with Two Lane America will be on site and can tell you all about their experiences and what to expect. Corvette Clubs that book six or more Corvettes can save $200 per person using the coupon code CorvetteClub.
For more details about planning your dream trip on the Main Street of America, contact Two Lane America’s tour guide Austin Coop at [email protected] or 513-827-8273 about Corvette Club registrations or any other questions you may have. Dates are filling up for 2024, so don’t delay!
Route 66 was the first national paved highway to cross the American West, and your caravan of fellow adventurers is limited to 15 vehicles as you follow the best stretches of the original Route 66 from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Austin Coop has personally traveled Route 66 dozens of times over the last 10 years and he knows all the old filling stations, vintage diners, roadside attractions and other historic sites worth checking out. Along the 2,400-mile itinerary are stops at several natural wonders and two national parks including the Grand Canyon! At the end of the journey is Los Angeles and the Santa Monica Pier.
Your trip starts in Chicago, and you’ll travel through eight states on your way to the finish line in Los Angeles. You’ll cross historic two-lane bridges, cruise through small towns, and experience those quirky roadside attractions that Route 66 is known for, including the famous Cadillac Ranch, the Leaning Tower of Britten in Groom, Texas, and Arizona’s Hackberry General Store. You’ll gaze in wonder during the stop at the Grand Canyon, and you might even find yourself humming the famous Eagles song as you’re “Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona.” There is so much to see and do during each of the 13 days.
