Corvette Auction Preview – Mecum Glendale 2024

The 2024 Mecum roadshow heads west next week to sunny Arizona for their annual Glendale collector car auction. The 5-day sale runs Tuesday, March 5th through Saturday, March 9th at the massive State Farm Stadium. Roughly 2,000 lots are expected to cross the Mecum red carpet once festivities get underway.

As we go to press, we see 125 Corvettes seeking new homes with nearly half of those represented by Corvette’s 2nd generation. Overall, the Glendale docket heavily favors the early cars which make up 93 of the 116 cars currently listed. The mix of early Corvettes is impressive. They could easily headline Monterey or any of the ultra-high-end automotive auctions. In the mix, you’ll find a decorated 1967 L88, two COPO’s, multiple fuelies, and more. The later models keep pace with a rare 1,200-mile 2008 Will Cooksey Edition, a 2016 Corvette Z06 Convertible, and several C8 Z06s including a 2023 70th Anniversary Z06 Convertible.

Here’s how the respective generations breakdown:

C1: 21
C2: 50
C3: 22
C4: 10
C5: 7
C6: 4
C7: 4
