“If you like your stuff & want to keep it … don’t use it for illegal activities!”

That’s the powerful warning being put out on social media by the < AHREF="https://www.pcbfl.gov/Home/Components/News/News/5556/18">Panama City Beach Police Department, which is using ill-gotten gains to warn others about the consequences of criminal activity.

If you happen to be in the Florida Panhandle town this week, you might just see the only C8 Corvette of its kind – a 2022 Stingray that was taken from a drug dealer and has been updated with a snazzy blue wrap with “Panama City Beach Police” prominently displayed on the door, along with the explanatory phrase “Seized for Service.”

With the help of K9 Officer Rogue back in April, the PCBPD discovered narcotics hidden in the Corvette and ultimately charged the driver, a 25-year-old Albany, Ga., man with felony transporting illegal narcotics and possessing firearms. Other agencies also charged Alexander Casey with fleeing and eluding.

Now the Corvette, which had previously evaded two neighboring law enforcement agencies, serves as “a testament to the relentless pursuit of safety and lawfulness by our department,” Communications Director Debbie Ingram said in a Facebook post.

The seizure was executed under the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, “demonstrating our commitment to upholding the law and protecting our community,” she said.

The Corvette will be featured in the department’s “Cops ‘N Kids” outreach program, serving as “a powerful reminder of the consequences of illegal narcotics possession and transportation, reinforcing the message of law adherence and community responsibility.”

Visitors can see the car up-close outside the PCB Police Department on Friday, Dec. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. The free event will also feature a snow machine, photos with Santa on his sled, hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, s’mores, holiday music, and free Cops ‘N Kids swag.

“We anticipate that the presence of this visually striking Corvette, alongside K9 Officer Rogue, will significantly enhance our community events, fostering a sense of unity and awareness, especially among the youth,” Ingram said. “We are grateful for the community’s support and are committed to continuously working towards a safer and more engaged Panama City Beach.”

  1. Thieves , yep – damn thieves are who & what they are for stealing that mans car. PC’s motto,,, You Make It, We Take It……. damn lying thieves, the cops , the lying prosecutor and the blind judge are all in the conspiracy and they deserved more prison than the dope dealer.

  2. Great that they took this car from those asshole scum drug dealers, I never did any illegal drugs and never will, I can’t understand what’s so great about getting stoned and becoming an addict, ruining your life. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time or want to lose your possessions, which probably bought with the money from pedaling their poison.

  3. Oh, in reading billeeG’s comment, seems like he is a customer of the former Corvette owner.

  4. billeeG,
Making baseless assumptions based off hate.
One who bases their thoughts and opinions off hate is a direct reflection of one’s emotional immaturity. Psych 101 billeeG, 🐐

  5. A 25 year old drug dealer was able to purchase a new Corvette, A 25 year veteran of PCB Police Department is NOT able to purchase a new Corvette. In order for the Cops to obtain one they” seized ” the Corvette under Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act. Under the Florida Justice System Act, the 25 year old drug dealer will be released from custody within hours and back out on the street to sell more illegal narcotics. A week later the 25 year old dealer will purchase a new 2024 Corvette Z06 to transport more illegal narcotics and purchase better firearms. Great System God Bless the USA. What was that message again ?
