[PICS] Vote for Ohio’s C7 Corvette Stingray as the Country’s Best Looking Police Cruiser

Apparently there is an annual competition among the States for who has the best-looking police cruisers, and this year 46 states submitted photos of their police cruisers into the contest. You can view all the photos and vote for the state that you think does it the best.

There are some really great photos submitted with many states showing off their traditional cruisers like the Dodge Charger, Ford Explorer or Chevrolet Suburban, but other states got creative like Georgia which features a Camaro, and South Carolina is showing a Ford Mustang. Our favorite photo and the one that earned our vote was the submission from the Ohio State Patrol who chose to show off their C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible photographed in front of a lighthouse.

We first featured the Torch Red C7 Patrol Car a couple of years ago after Ohio rolled it out, and the Stingray is actually part of a Safe Driving Initiative targeting Ohio residents. The Stingray was one of two cars (the other being a Camaro) that were seized during unrelated drug stops and pressed into public service. We love seeing Corvettes dressed up as police cars so here is hoping the Ohio Stingray can do better than 13th place which is where Ohio finished in last year’s competition.

Like we said, there were some really good photos submitted. Alabama, California, and Michigan went with an action photo showing their police cruisers with a police chopper in the background. Delaware, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Kentucky are showing old school cruisers with their current police cruisers, and my own state of Florida has the familar FHP Dodge Charger with an alligator in front of the car.
