Chevrolet Also Raised the Corvette's Destination Fee and These Other Option Prices are Up As Well

When we caught the announcement early on Tuesday to dealers about Chevrolet raising the prices of the 2024 Corvettes across the board, there were some details left out that are now coming to light.

In addition to Chevrolet adding $2,000 across all trims, the destination fee has been increased an additional $100 to $1,695. That’s now $300 more than it was for the 2023 Corvette models. The destination fee is mandatory, and it’s even tacked on if you choose to have the Corvette delivered across the street at the National Corvette Museum.

We’ve also noted that the price of the full-length racing stripes has been increased by $200. They are now priced at $1,195.

The Engine Appearance Package has been raised from $995 to $1,495. This has been one of the main options we think is causing problems with getting those 2023 Corvettes completed and released from the plant.

Chevy increased the prices of the Carbon Fiber wheels for the Corvette Z06 and E-Ray. The Carbon Flash-painted Carbon Fiber wheels are now priced at $11,995 while the visible Carbon Fiber wheels are now $13,995. That’s a $1,000 more than what they were previously. Chevy also raised the price of the visible Carbon Wheels with the Red Stripe to $15,500.

Returning back to the Stingray, Chevrolet offers a visible Carbon Fiber High Wing for the Stingray that is now priced at $7,995 and we are seeing on the Build and Price configurator that the ground effects in both Carbon Flash and Visible Carbon Fiber requires Z51.

These are the price updates we’ve found so far, and there may be more out there that our eagle eyes have missed. If you see an option that you know has been increased, please let us know in the comments below!

  1. That’s bullshit charging a destination fee for Museum Delivery and that’s in addition to paying for the Museum Delivery option.

  2. Creeping inflation as the car slowly is getting unaffordable to the average Joe. The only people buying are the 1% and the guys that like big car payments. Oh well, might as well as few are buying houses since they are well beyond affordability.

  3. This is the “Balls” theory, “Gotcha by”!!
GM is just trying to keep up with the “Dealers Add on Rash”!!
How bad do you want one??

  4. I’ve been on the list since August of 22. Now it’s October of 23. Price increases for the new model year. Now more price increases a month later. I’m still roughly 6 month’s from actually going into production and I’m seriously thinking of backing out. 6k in increases. How much more will it go up in the next 6 month’s. The Average guy like myself is definitely being priced out of the market.

  5. I will keep my 2019 can’t afford a new one. Someone has to pay for the union on strike. GM won’t.
