Online Bidding is Now Live for the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction 2023


Our friends at Carlisle Auctions will be hosting the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction this Thursday and Friday, and over 400 vehicles expected to cross the auction block including 35 Corvettes!

The Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction will be held September 28-29 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, PA and the auction starts at 12:00 pm ET daily. Carlisle Auctions offers three ways to bid on vehicles, so whether it’s in-person, online, or by telephone, you’ll have every opportunity to purchase your next collector car. Corvette consignments for the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction are mostly concentrated in the C1 to C5 generations with one lone C8 Corvette Stingray joining the fun. The C4s lead the pack with 13 consignments followed by nine C3s and then four each for the C1, C2, and C5 generations. We looked over the Corvette run list and offer up this preview of seven Corvettes to keep your eyes on.

Lot # 532.1 – 1954 Corvette

1954 Corvette

This 1954 Corvette has only 50K actual miles. Its previous owner purchased the car following his service in the Vietnam War. and its last inspection was in 1981 with an odometer reading of 49,053. Soon after, the ’54 was then put onto jackstands and stored for decades in a dry climate-controlled garage until just recently rescued. It’s had brake service, fluid service, and engine maintenance performed to get it back on the road. A new Beige canvas convertible top was installed and the engine compartment is nicely detailed.


Lot # 535.2 – 1955 Corvette


1955 Corvette in Harvest Gold

This 1955 Corvette features a rare color scheme of Harvest Gold with a Green interior and convertible top. Serial number 319 of 700 produced. It won an NCRS Top Flight award with a 99.3 score, and it underwent NCRS Performance Verification and was a Duntov Award winner in 2000 at the NCRS Nationals meet in Bowling Green. This Corvette also has a Bloomington Gold certification, and it was also a recipient of the Gold Spinner Award at the McCormack Place in Chicago for the MCACN Triple Crown Award.


Lot # 535.2 – 1965 Corvette


1965 Corvette

1965 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible offered in Rare Nassau Blue with Blue interior. Powered by the original 327 cubic inch V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. Documentation includes the Broadcast sheet. Options included both tops, aluminum intake, 4-wheel disc brakes, Hurst shifter, power antenna, and spinner wheel covers.


Lot # 529.1 – 1966 Corvette


1966 Corvette

This 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible is offered in Mosport Green with its original Black interior and a Black convertible top. It’s powered by its matching numbers 327/300-hp V8 coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the odometer reads 62,446 miles.


Lot # 535.1 – 1970 Corvette


1970 Corvette

1970 Corvette Stingray Convertible is offered in White with Black Interior and a Black vinyl auxiliary hard top. It’s rare to see an LS5 in a convertible, let alone one with factory AC. This Corvette had a complete body-off restoration to exacting NCRS standards by a master judge. Less than 100 of all Corvettes built in 1970 were comparably equipped.


Lot # 432 – 1990 Corvette ZR1


1990 Corvette

This first year 1990 Corvette ZR1 is offered in Torch Red with a Red interior. Powered by the DOHC 32-valve LT5 V8 and mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. This ZR1 is equipped with the Selective Ride Handling Package, and options include dual 6-way power sport bucket seats, upgraded stereo, and original solar glass. Clean CarFax and documented with original window sticker.


Lot # 196.1 – 2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary


1990 Corvette

2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible with the 70th Anniversary Package featuring the White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat exterior with unique Ceramic White leather interior and Red stitching. This Stingray was just broken in with under 600 miles on the odometer. Options include Z51 Performance Package, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and Carbon Flash Roof/Nacelles.

Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction 2023

Carlisle Auction’s Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction 2023 takes place September 28-29 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
