[VIDEO] The Automotive Media is Driving the 2024 E-Ray This Week in Colorado

We caught an up-tick in mentions of the 2024 Corvette E-Ray and it turns out that Chevy hosted a Ride and Drive with the new performance hybrid E-Ray out in Colorado. We read that the embargo will be lifted on October 13th at 9am which is a Friday.

Despite the embargo, we’ve seen a bunch of social media posts highlighting the E-Ray and we’ll share a few of them below.

Garrett Alexander Reed posted this Carbon Flash Black beauty on Facebook, saying “Yoooo!!! Out here in Colorado with Chevrolet driving the new Corvette E-Ray! This thing is awesome. Simply put.

One of the locations we’ve spied for the Ride and Drive looks to be a municiple airport. Here is a photo posted by Dan Carney who writes for Design News (and he is one of 50 voting on the North American Car of the Year Award):

For our Spanish-speakers, Al Vazquez of Miami posted two videos to social media. The first shows a Cacti E-Ray at the airport location, and then it looks like attendees are at the Pike’s Peak International Raceway to test the E-Ray’s acceleration. I am not able to embed that second video, but you can watch it on his Facebook page.

Eddie X also posted a couple of videos to Social Media. In the first video, you can hear the combination of the LT2 V8 engine with the 160-hp electric drive motor. His second post shows off a Riptide Blue E-Ray at the race track as well. The Z06 owner says he is headed to Spring Mountain following the Colorado Ride and Drive event:

We also found this post from Redline_Reviews on Instagram which goes a little further than I am sure Chevy wants as they post quite a bit about the new E-Ray. A second post includes a video walkaround and he confirms the embargo date is October 13th at 9am.

And finally, Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire posted this pic that literally shows a smoking tire on the E-Ray:
