Wheel Craft PVD Chrome wheels are available in all C8 Stingray designs, and they carry many other Corvette wheel styles as well. They will be bringing along a limited stock of Bright PVD Chrome and Black PVD Chrome rims, so it’s important that you reserve now in advance of the show. Wheel Craft specializes in a performance finish known as PVD Chrome. PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition and it’s a process of applying a micro-thin layer of chrome onto the entire wheel. Where traditional chrome is applied by dipping the parts into a chrome chemical bath, PVD chrome is applied in a vacuum chamber, creating an inseparable bond between the chrome finish and alloy wheels. Wheel Craft then adds an acrylic clear coat that seals and protects the finish, and the process is covered under a 5-year warranty.

Wheel Craft is based in Ohio and all work is done here in the USA. All wheels are covered by Wheel Craft’s industry leading 5-year warranty which protects against chipping, peeling, corrosion, and most importantly brake dust burns and discoloration of the finish…the only thing not covered is your driving!

  1. Tadge himself said chrome wheels won’t be an option on the C8. GM thinks old farts like chrome wheels and GM wants to sell the C8 to a younger demographic. From the majority of C8 owners I’ve seen at Corvette shows and on Mike Furman’s Corvette Delivery Dispatch I think GM is missing the mark. Most of those owners are still a bunch of gray heads and gray beards.
