[VIDEO] A 2019 Corvette ZR1 Enters the Mecum Arena, Sells for $214,500


Chevy’s front-engine swansong never disappoints, and this one that hit the Mecum auction block in Harrisburg last week is a fantastic example of the C7 generation’s “tip of the spear.”

This 2019 Corvette ZR1 dressed fully in Black is a one-owner car and it’s optioned with the ZTK Performance Package and a 7-speed manual transmission. The owner put some miles on the car with the odometer reading 7,716 but seriously, how can you blame him when you have Chevy’s most potent engine ever at 755-horsepower AND a manual transmission?

The ZR1 Coupe was further optioned with a Jet Black interior, red seat belts, and Competition Sport Seats.

The Corvette was sold with a Reserve which was lifted at $195K, and the car would hammer for the same price. With buyer’s commission, the total sales price was $214,500.

  1. The buyer’s ol’ lady looks like she isn’t the least bit enthusiastic that he won the auction for the car. She acts like it’s just another overpriced toy that he doesn’t need.

  2. Manual cars will continue to bring a premium. It’s funny how some people trash the M7 as something obsolete yet they seem to sell faster.
