They say the human male brain isn’t fully developed until the age of 25, and this “legal pit” event in Florida seems to verify that notion.
We’re glad to report that no humans were injured in the filming of these videos that captured the driver of a blue C6 Corvette coupe losing control of his car during what was billed as “Florida’s Largest Legal Pit” event that allegedly had police on hand to keep things “under control.”
Clearly, that didn’t work out so well as several videos captured the Corvette from different angles as it slammed into a group of bystanders, who were supposed to be protected by stacks of unsecured tires around the outside of the pit. Instead, at least two of these spectators were hit by the speeding Corvette and one even went through the rear hatch glass.
In the aftermath, the Corvette coupe – with California license plates “UFNWISH” – has now become a “semi-convertible” with the rear glass smashed out, not to mention suffering the humiliation of a cracked rear fender and shattered windshield.
Admittedly, like a bug drawn to a light in the middle of the night, I sat at my computer, mesmerized as I watched all the videos that had later been posted in a story about the crash on Corvette Forum. It’s good news that apparently no one was killed in what could have easily been a rather horrific accident. One videographer at the scene claims no one was even hurt, though we can’t confirm that.
Nevertheless, age 25 can’t come fast enough for these folks, don’t ya think?

Total losers and total idiots. Can’t believe no one was injured, especially the dude that went through the rear glass.
God I hate people.
Their brain isn’t developed until 25, yet they can vote at 21. And you wonder why the country is going to hell.
Legal? Don’t buy a performance car from someone under…lets say 28.
Average IQ has been going down for years. Blame the parents and government schools.
