Did the driver of this vintage C3 Corvette have “a long way to go and a short time to get there,” as Jerry Reed used to sing?
That might be one conclusion after watching this video of his actions captured by the dashcam of another vehicle in the British Columbia, Canada city of West Kelowna.
In the grainy video, the late-‘70s Corvette guns it while making a left turn from Boucherie Road onto Hayman Road, nearly colliding with another vehicle waiting to make a turn onto Boucherie and then scraping across a concrete island in his path. Wonder what the bottom of his Corvette looks like now?
The incident happened at 4:50 p.m. on May 14 just off Highway 97.

Dude doesn’t know how to drive around a traffic circle like he’s got some sense and he scrapes up the bottom of his Corvette. That’s pathetic.
Maybe he just borrowed it for the day.
