I first met Byron Glover Jr of the Drive 615 YouTube channel back in September 2019 at the National Corvette Museum just after the launch of the C8 Corvette Stingray and we’ve stayed in touch ever since.

Byron called me on Saturday of the NCM Bash and told me he was coming up to the Museum. Later that afternoon and just before the E-Rays were loaded on Reliable Carrier, we filmed this rundown on the new 2024 Corvette E-Rays!

Chevrolet displayed three E-Rays at the Bash, and thankfully, each was wearing one the three new colors for 2024: Riptide Blue, Seawolf Gray, and Cacti. There was also the cutaway chassis display of the E-Ray so you can see the 160-hp electric drive motor in the front as well as the 80-cell 1.9 kWh battery pack located in the center tunnel.

After my rundown, I had to checkout and head to Nashville to catch my flight, leaving behind Byron who was able to capture some great additional footage as the Corvette E-Rays were loaded up. Thanks again Byron for the opportunity to share these great Corvettes on your channel!

Check out the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray. This video showcases three new colors for 2024 that you can get on the C8. Riptide Blue Metallic, Cacti and Sea Wolf Gray Tri-coat are the new paint colors for the 2024 C8 Corvette E-Ray, while in total, 13 exterior hues and 10 interior colorways are available.

  1. Keith, glad to call you a friend! Thanks for helping me make an epic E-Ray video!

  2. Apparently they are really trying to sell that body colored trim. I don’t like it. I wonder if they will charge for the black trim. Why couldn’t the E-Ray have center exhaust? Trying to be different, again?
