[VIDEO] Visit The Lingenfelter Collection’s Spring Open House on April 22nd

One of our favorite springtime events is right around the corner. On Saturday, April 22nd, the renowned Lingenfelter Collection will be opening their doors for their annual Spring Open House. There’s no better way to support the American Cancer Society than by checking out all the spectacular collection has to offer.

The world class collection isn’t open to the general public, so this is one of a handful of opportunities each year to check out some of the rarest cars on the planet. The Lingenfelter Collection belongs to Ken and Kristen Lingenfelter (of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering fame, of course) and features more than 180 distinctive vehicles, including Corvettes, muscle cars, and exotics. Naturally, there’s also a wide selection of Lingenfelter-modified cars for you to ogle as well.

The collection itself is essentially split into 3 rooms within the sprawling building. There’s an exotics room featuring multiple Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, and even a Bugatti Veyron. In the middle space you’ll find a host of Corvettes. The next room over contains everything under the sun. Think NHRA funny car to a Chevy Chevette and everything in between.

It’s not just the cars inside that make a visit to the Lingenfelter Collection special, it’s all the cars parked outside as well. Over the course of the day, you’ll see hundreds of classic, sports, and collector cars that make their way to the event. Many local car clubs turn the day into a spring cruise event. If April’s Michigan weather cooperates, plan to spend some time in parking lot and along Lochlin Drive, taking in all the automotive goodness.

Those attending the Spring Open House will be able to support the America Cancer Society by making a monetary donation at the door. Additionally, there’s typically a silent auction and opportunities to score a Ken Lingenfelter autograph. Refreshments will be available and representatives will be present to answer any questions.

The 2023 Lingenfelter Spring Open House takes places Saturday, April 22nd from 10am – 5pm.
