C8 Corvette Ranks 12 on List of Top 14 Used Cars More Expensive than New

It’s crazy how much the overall used car market has come down in the last year, and thanks to another study of new and pre-owned car prices from iSeeCars, we have yet another sign that the pre-owned market for the C8 Corvette is cooling down as well.

Last February, iSeeCars published a study that ranked the Corvette Stingray second on the list of 15 Used Cars More Expensive Than New. That study found that the C8 Corvette was priced at 20% more for used examples than new cars, with the average pre-owned Corvette priced $16,645 higher than new.

In the March 2023 study that just came out, the Corvette was 12th overall on the list of the Top 14 cars that are more expensive used than new, with the C8 Corvette priced only 0.4% or $324 more used than a new.

iSeeCars also says the current average price for a used C8 Corvette Stingray is $84,827.

iSeeCars says they analysed over 8.9 million new and lightly used cars listed for sale from February to March 2023 for this study:

Beyond the hybrid and mainstream models that dominate this list, three special interest vehicles, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Ford Bronco, and Chevrolet Corvette, also continue to be in high demand and short supply, keeping their used prices above their new prices.
