We always like to pass along good news for Corvettes when we can get it, and we have some very positive news on the production front this week.

On Tuesday, workers at the Corvette Assembly Plant built a new high of 32 Corvette Z06s during the two shifts. There were 24 regular Z06s and 8 70th Anniversary’s produced during the workday. With 196 total Corvettes produced on Tuesday, Z06 production accounted for 16.3% of those numbers.

As of Tuesday, January 24, there are 683 regular Corvette Z06s and 96 70th Anniversary Z06s built so far. That’s a total of 779 Z06s so far for the 2023 model year.

The Corvette Assembly Plant also continues to still be cranking out the Stingrays. Our current VIN count on the regular 2023 Stingrays is at 23,220 and there have been 2,314 70th Anniversary Stingrays produced as well. Add those two figures together and we have 25,534 total Stingrays produced.

  1. Just more cars for the flippers and
the dishonest dealers, YouTubers probably on there second ones by
now, I think they have all torn there’s first ones up. Maybe the flippers need a second one too.

  2. If GM keeps producing that many regular C8 the price is going to go down because they’re catching up to the demand

  3. I was one of the lucky ones, at least I think. Kind of a long story but..Walked in to my favorite dealer to look at a Z06 already allocated. Just wanted to see one in real life..24 hours later the GM in sales calls me and says the buyer Bailed
Now go Google top speed of a Kia Forte(on my way)…Is the mark up unfair ?? Maybe, maybe not..you would the mark up would discourage flippers..I signed the document saying can’t sell for 6 months..I have absolutely no intention to flip…A dream come true ? Or bad investment?

  4. Lots of confusion! The Devil of this world has his claws in this! Watch out ! I just went with a good rep msrp dealer close to home and an organized trans parent honest system. Nothing is perfect know this

  5. I wouldn’t pay over MSRP for any auto, that’s just pure Greed. Paying over MSRP is like throwing meat to a shark then jumping in after condoning the greed.

  6. Nobody wants to pay over MSRP. I spoke to one of the largest dealers, who said they never charge over MSRP. However, they said they stopped taking names for their waiting list because it’s over 3 years long, based on current production. Dealer suggested I get on a waiting list for a C9, when they start taking names. If Chevy didn’t want dealers to charge over MSRP, all they have to do is tell dealers their allocations will be cut.
