Corvettes for Sale: 1800-Mile 2019 Corvette ZR1 on Bring a Trailer

Examples of the most powerful front-engine Corvettes ever produced are drawing big bucks at auctions nowadays.

After all, Chevy is definitely not making any more of these 755-horsepower/715 lb ft of torque ZR1s that were offered only during the 2019 model year.

Earlier this year, a Torch Red ZR1 with 4,000 miles and a seven-speed manual transmission set a Bring a Trailer record with a sales price of $241,000 – smashing the previous record of $215,000 set just a few months earlier.

Now a Shadow Gray Metallic ZR1 is currently taking aim at that record, climbing to $180,000 with three days left in the BaT auction.

This Corvette has been driven just 1,800 miles since being delivered new to Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, North Carolina and then subsequently purchased by its current and second owner out of South Carolina in 2021.

The car, which listed new for $140,075, includes the top-of-the-line $10,000 3ZR Premium Equipment Group that features Napa leather seats, power heated mirrors, sueded microfiber-wrapped upper trim package, custom leather wrapped instrument panel and doors, heated and ventilated seats, Performance Data and Video Recorder with Navigation, front curb view cameras, and more.

The car also has the $2,995 ZTK Track Performance Package that includes an adjustable high-wing spoiler, front splitter end caps, summer only Sport Cup Run-Flat tires, and performance ride and handling suspension.

Other options are competition sport seats for $1,995, ZR1 carbon flash wheels for $495, custom leather blue stitching for $395, and battery protection package for $100.

Of course, the ZR1 is powered by a supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LT5 V8 with a 95mm throttle body, dry-sump lubrication, and fuel injection with both direct and port fuel delivery. This one is connected to a seven-speed manual transmission, apparently the last year Chevy will offer a stick in the Corvette.

Some on the internet believe ZR1s have the potential to hit the $300,000 level before too long. Would you pay that much to have one of the 2,441 ZR1 coupes or 512 convertibles built by the Bowling Green plant?
