That’s the takeaway from this video featuring the CBoys, a group of guys who customize and play hard with their vehicles. Last year they made a video about turning a stretch limousine into a Convertible. We didn’t pay any attention to it for obvious reasons, but then today, a clip from the longer video surfaced on YouTube as a “Cboys Clips” selection that’s all about a C8 Corvette and making stupid bets.
Put a bunch of guys together with little oversight, and eventually, one is going to make a wager that you know you shouldn’t accept, but the lure of a quick $100 bucks is staring at you right in the face. Meanwhile, your “friends” are egging you on to take that bet because they have no skin in the game and want to see what happens. The twist here is that it’s the C8 Corvette owner that makes the initial bet and even agrees to try it against his Corvette’s window when a test throw against the limo fails. So he basically gets what he deserves.

So that’s the set-up for this four-minute video. The premise is that porcelain shatters glass, which is an old-school tactic for literally breaking into a car, as one of YouTube commenters says. But these young guys had never heard that, so why not try it on than Ben’s Torch Red Corvette Stingray.
The piece of porcelain was chipped from an old spark plug, and as we mentioned, when thrown against the rear glass of the limo, it simply bounced off. But against the C8 Corvette driver’s side window, it’s another story. The look on the dude’s face when his window shatters is worth the watch!
