We have definitely entered a new phase after the Corvette Assembly Plant released the first 2023 Corvette Z06s to dealers last Thursday. We already shared the moments that the Z06 arrived at Rick Hendrick’s City Chevrolet and Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City, but on Tuesday, we’ll be watching as 22-year-old Austin Everett, AKA Speed Phenom picks up his new Z06 at the National Corvette Museum.
We’ve already been teased on this delivery with the National Corvette Museum sharing a photo of the wrapped supercar as it arrived Thursday afternoon. At the time, we didn’t know it was Speed Phenom’s Z06 and speculated the car under the white transport cover appeared to be Red when it was actually Amplify Orange.
Once the car was released to the NCM, Austin booked that flight from LAX to BNA (Nashville), and he shared the image above to his Instagram page showing the Orange Z07 parked in the back of the NCM’s R8C garage. Austin will be presented with the car on Tuesday morning beginning at 7:45 AM CT, and we expect his delivery to be wrapped up by late morning.
You’ll be able to watch some of the NCM Delivery via the webcams set up at the Corvette Museum.
While Speed waits for his date with destiny, he visits the NCM Motorsports Park and then hits the National Corvette Museum, where he can spy his new Corvette waiting for him in the garage. Check it out here:
It was during the early days of the 2020 Corvette Stingray that we first learn about Speed Phenom, and we followed along as he offered several videos showcasing his new Stingray as he made the cross-country journey back to California. So obviously, we are excited to be along for the ride as he does it all over again in his new 2023 Corvette Z06!
