The hunt continues for a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Split Window Coupe brazenly stolen during a Michigan car show Saturday.

Scout Sparks says her father’s silver Corvette was stolen from the spectator parking lot of Howell Airport between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. during the Armor Great Pumpkin Classic Car Show in Howell, Michigan.

The vintage Corvette definitely stands out in a crowd, so it’s no surprise that numerous sightings or apparent sightings have been reported, though none since late Sunday afternoon. In a Facebook post, Scout says the car was seen Saturday at 12:45 p.m. in front of Kroger in Howell on M-59 headed towards Pontiac and may also have been sighted near White Lake Road on M-59 later that afternoon. The last possible sighting came Sunday at 5:15 p.m. near I-75 and Davison Freeway in the Detroit area.

The family is offering a $5,000 reward for any tip or information that leads to the recovery of the Corvette, which from the photos posted appears to have a black interior, side pipes, and knock-off wheels.

*UPDATE* on STOLEN CORVETTE: Split Window was seen on Saturday, 10/1 at 12:45pm in front of Kroger in Howell, MI on M-59 headed towards Pontiac. It was also possibly spotted near White Lake Rd. on M-59 later that afternoon. On SUNDAY, 10/2, at 5:15pm the car was possibly spotted near I-75 and DAVISON FREEWAY in the DETROIT area.

We will issue a $5,000 REWARD for any tip/information that leads to the recovery of our 1963 Split Window Corvette. Please continue to share this post – thank you in advance!
