At 11:00 am on Monday morning, the reviews for America’s newest supercar began rolling in, and we couldn’t be more excited to share them with you.

As we mentioned last week, Chevrolet hosted a Ride and Drive at Pittsburgh International Raceway, and many of the reviews we expect to see will feature this track. But the magazines and some of the big YouTubers got their own press cars, and those videos are also out.

Here’s a roundup in no particular order, and then we’ll dive in on those that we believe deserve to be featured in their own right.

SavageGeese

We provide one of the most in-depth looks at the new 2023 Corvette C8 Z06. We talked to the engineers about the approach and difficulties of designing a 670HP naturally aspirated V8 in the modern age. With more exotic performance and a starting price of nearly $105,000, there will be plenty of discussions about how this resets the internal combustion supercar formula.

Throttle House

The 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 ($106,000 in the US, $128,000 starting in Canada) aspires to achieve a formidable goal: to slay supercar titans and crush its competition for a fraction of the cost. The mad scientists at Corvette say they designed it to have both the soul of a Ferrari 458 and the clinical speed of a Porsche GT2 RS. An extremely bold claim.

670 horsepower. 8600 rpm redline. This is the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in any production car ever. Will it be able to live up to its mighty expectations? Thomas and James aim to find out. We hope you enjoy the episode. Thanks for watching!

Speed Phenom

This the first official drive and review of Chevrolet’s all-new C8 Corvette Z06 on track! Featuring 671 horsepower, a lightning-fast DCT, an 8K RPM redline, and increased aero… Here’s how this all-new American Supercar performs!

Redline Reviews

It’s finally here! The long-awaited 2023 #CorvetteZ06! Built on the same mid-engine layout as the standard #C8Corvette, the new #Z06 ditches the old 6.2L supercharged V8 and replaces it with a bespoke 5.5L #LT6 naturally aspirated DOHC V8 making 670 HP. #Chevrolet claims the new #Corvette Z06 has the most powerful production N/A V8 in the world. It also happens to rev all the way to 8,600 RPM, making this new #C8CorvetteZ06 sound like an American Ferrari.

The Straight Pipes

2023 C8 Corvette Z06 review by The Straight Pipes. The Corvette Z06 is putting down 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque from a 5.5L V8. At $147,140 USD, would you take it over any supercars?

EddieX

The time has finally arrived. I have driven the new 2023 C8 Corvette Z06. Faster. Wider. Louder. Better in every way than the already capable C8 Corvette Stingray, the mid-engined Z06 brings a brand new 5.5L Flat plane crank V8, codenamed the LT6, which revs to 8600 rpm and makes 670 horsepower, taking the title of the World’s Most Powerful Naturally Aspirated Production V8. This is a seriously special engine for a seriously special car. With the track focused Z07 package, you get an aggressive carbon fiber aero package, carbon ceramic brakes, optional carbon fiber wheels and retuned steering and suspension. This car has all the right ingredients, and we got to find out if they added up to an amazing final result. The first drive occurred on the curvy mountain roads outside Pittsburgh, then we hit the track at Pittsburgh Raceway, a spectacular track. Enjoy this first review and leave a comment below, I cannot wait to spend more time with the new Corvette Z06!!!

Emelia Hartford

Emelia breaks the official GM time of 10.6 in the Quarter Mile and a 2.2-second 0-60 MPH!

Raiti’s Rides

FIRST DRIVE: The C8 Z06 is here and Chevrolet is ready for the competition. This Corvette competes directly with Porsche 911 GT3, Ferrari F8 Tributo, Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes AMG GT R and Audi R8. Under the engine cover is a 5.5L V8 that produces 670HP & is mated to an 8-speed DCT. On the outside you will find extra aero, wider stance and larger air intakes. On the inside there is a ton of carbon fiber, special steering wheel and custom interior options. Is the NEW 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 a performance car WORTH the PRICE?

Vehicle Virgins

Today I review the all new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. With the worlds most powerful naturally aspirated v8, 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and a mid engined layout, the new Z06 is a force to be reckoned with.

That Dude in Blue

The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 could possibly be the most anticipated sports car of the year. From the very moment you step in the C8 Z06 your mind says “this…can’t be a Corvette.”

Out Motorsports

Chevrolet invited us to Pitt Race for a first drive of the 2023 C8 Chevy Corvette Z06 and would you just LISTEN to it! The C8 Corvette Z06 is powered by a unique flat-plane crank 5.5L V8, naturally-aspirated making 670 HP and 490 lb-ft. It’s a screamer! We spent all morning on track at Pitt Race with the #c8z06 and C8 Z06 with Z07 performance package, then took a black C8 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary edition for a 3-hour road drive on some excellent back roads. Here’s what we think of the #CorvetteZ06!

Road & Track

As part of R&T’s 2023 Performance Car of the Year testing, we lapped the contenders at Monticello Motor Club’s north course to get a baseline of what they could do. That included the C8 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 package. Our editor-at-large Travis Okulski was driving these laps, and there are a few things we should make clear before you view the video and then hit the comments. The full review is at roadand.tk/ZonIyoW

Car and Driver

Car and Driver dedicated their whole front page to the new 2023 Corvette Z06 with six stories on their front page. The articles include their detailed first drive, their “How We’d Spec It” rip-off of Blogger Builds (our vote for best build goes to Beard), a “how we got here” explainer of everything Chevy touched to get from Stingray to Z06, an in-depth dive on the car’s intense cornering capabilities, and a gorgeous – and wallpaper-worthy – new photo gallery featuring top-down Carbon Flash Anniversary Editions and Torch Red Z07 coupes in a lightning storm!

MotorTrend

MotorTrend got in on the action early, but they strangely didn’t give the Z the prime real estate top and center. Still, their review made up for this oversight by dubbing the General’s masterpiece “The Best American Sports Car Ever Made.” They also included a separate performance testing breakdown for the analytics nerds out there! If you are looking to plaster your screens with the fairer of the 70th specials, MT’s gallery is the one for you!

The Drive

The 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 Is America’s World-Beating Supercar. The sound of the LT6 alone makes the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 an all-time great. Thankfully, everything else happens to be utterly amazing.

SlashGear

With the flagship Z06 trim, Chevrolet's Corvette C8 gets the extreme performance and driving focus to turn an affordable supercar into a true track hero.

MotorAuthority

With a roaring flat-plane-crank, 670-hp V-8 at your back, it’s impossible to drive civilly in the track-ready Chevy Corvette Z06.
