We are getting initial reports from some of our dealer friends that Chevrolet has indeed put out allocation numbers today for the 2023 Corvette Z06. The allocations are being divided up by the various Chevy Zones (or perhaps by Regions), so we don’t yet have a Nationwide number yet. Another Chevy rep also responded “yes” when ask if orders are being submitted this week as well.
As for the Z06 constraints, the carbon fiber aero packages appear to have a 70% constraint based on the numbers we have seen, which means that only 30% of the allocations are available with the T0G/T0J aero packages, which are also required for the Z07 Performance Package.
In talking to our dealers, we believe the national Z06 allocation numbers to be 196 total with 59 aero cars available nationwide. What is really strange is that several top 10 dealers (at least four confirmed) did not receive any allocations for their individual dealerships. In the words of one Chevy rep, “Who got the 196 cars? This is unbelievable!“
Update
Chevrolet has been updating the allocations behind the scenes, and now some dealers are reporting new Z06 allocations.
August 2022 Allocation Notes:
– Top 10 dealers MacMulkin, Criswell, Les Stanford, and Coughlin are all 0 allocations
– We are hearing that Mac Haik in Houston received 6 with 1 being a Z07. (probably Stingrays/Z06s)
– A user on Corvette Forum says he got a call from a very small dealer with 1 allocation available. The CF member says they sold no 3LT Stingray and are selling the Z06 with an ADM.
– Canada dealers got 15 Z06s with Finch Chevrolet receiving 1 of those.

Still No Z06 Allocations Yet but the First Constraints Have Been Announced
Happy CAD! Happy for those that will be getting close to an actual order placement, but sad for those of us wasting away in Toyotaville waiting for our cars. It may be shocking to say this – but – it could take awhile for GM to figure all this out. Wait – I see it coming now – a new Z07 and is that farmer Owen driving? C’mon Owen – open it up! You can go over 30….
It’s hard to understand the logic or process behind how Z06 allocations were distributed. I wonder if any of it had to do with projected ADMs or other dealership methodologies to sell Z06’s over MSRP? Either way, I’m on the waiting list with one of those top dealerships and will continue to wait for the call. What a journey this has been….😉

Chevy designed a great car. Too bad they are unable to build more than a small number.
I have a low number at one of the top dealerships. Put my deposit down in early 2020. Recently my dealer provided me with a spreadsheet of pricing for most options. After configuring my car, I am about $30K over budget based on the estimates (at MSRP) that were talked about earlier this year. So much for the accuracy of the Internet rumors. Anyway, when I sold my C6 back in 2020 I did not think I would be corvette-less for this long. How wrong I was; with covid, parts shortages, factory shutdowns and now with allocations being mis-managed and restraints on the Z07 and aero I wonder if I will live long enough to see my car. This has been one hell of a ride. Waiting for that phone call!!!!
In the article, I am the one that had the honor of receiving the Z07 package in Houston. I had to pay 50k over the MSRP Price but instead of waiting a year or possibly 5 years for this car on awaiting list. I paided for it. 205k to be exact. I have been wanting this car more than anything else. So am excited to know my order is in and I will be driving one of the few that will be out in the wild. I wish you all the blessed, I hope for those that really appreciate this car and desire it get this car. You should not get one just because you have the cash but be able to have one of these because of your absolute love for this beautiful Majestic creature called the Z06. It will be a magical and Joyous experience.
