Corvettes for Sale: A Rare Pratt & Miller 2007 Corvette C6RS Offered on BaT

Pratt & Miller Engineering has a rich history with Corvette Racing.

Now the fourth of the seven 2007 Corvette C6RS cars built as a tribute to Pratt & Miller’s American LeMans Series C6R race car is being sold by its second owner on Bring a Trailer.

With six days left in the auction, the current bid is $111,000 for this Corvette originally purchased by Ken Lingenfelter and driven only 209 miles over the past 15 years.

Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the car is its 8.2-liter V8 engine built by Katech Performance and rated at 600 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. It includes a six-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce high-torque twin-disc clutch and aluminum flywheel, side-mounted coils, carbon-fiber ram-air induction, K&N air filter, Corsa cat-back exhaust, integrated oil and water heat exchanger, BMRS hoses and fittings, Dewitt high-capacity aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, and carbon-fiber radiator shroud.

The black body – which is 1½ inches wider than the Z06 – includes revised carbon-fiber panels (except for the doors and rear deck lid) and has a front fascia with integrated brake ducts and ram-air induction, waterfall-style hood, carbon-fiber rear diffuser, functional carbon-fiber front fender louvers, rocker treatments, C6RS badges, and quad exhaust outlets.

Inside, the black and red leather interior includes heated bucket seats and a wide range of nice touches, including dual-zone automatic climate control, power driver’s seat, head-up display, Dynamat sound deadening insulation, and Bose sound system with a six-disc CD player.

Documentation includes build photos, Pratt & Miller documents, manufacturer’s literature, window sticker, promotional literature, and seat side bolster protectors.

This sounds like a great Corvette, but sadly with the ultra-low mileage, it will likely never be used to its full advantage unless someone is willing to take a hit on the resale value. Would you be?
