[ACCIDENT] DUI C5 Corvette Driver Arrested After Head-On Crash in San Antonio

The driver of this red C5 Corvette is facing intoxication assault charges after allegedly causing a four-vehicle crash Saturday night in San Antonio, Texas.

The accident started about 11:09 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Guadalupe Street when the driver of the westbound 2003 Corvette coupe sideswiped a red 2012 Toyota Camry while passing it on the left at a high rate of speed, then struck an eastbound Kia Soul taxi cab head-on after over-correcting into oncoming traffic. The impact caused the Soul to spin around and then strike a white 2006 GMC Envoy headed east directly behind it.

The driver of the Soul had to be transported to the hospital for serious injuries and is listed in stable condition, according to a report on KSAT.com. Police say the Corvette driver was intoxicated and took him into custody.
