[VIDEO] Chevrolet’s Final 2022 Corvette IMSA GTLM Championship C8.R Edition No.1000

Chevrolet offered its first special edition C8 Corvette in 2022 with the launch of the 2022 Corvette IMSA GTLM Championship C8.R Edition. These tributes to Corvette Racing were limited to just 1,000 units total and our friend Mike Furman of Criswell Chevrolet just received the final car in the series at his Maryland dealership.

The Corvette comes to Criswell as an Accelerate Yellow Convertible and Criswell’s Ken Eastep filmed a quick video of Mike with the car to show it off. The car will soon be delivered and we are looking forward to seeing those happy owner photos in a future Sunday post with Mike. The national Corvette seller says “it’s as cool as the other side of the pillow!”

Last of the special edition Corvette C8.R is delivered to Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Only 1,000 C8.Rs were produced and this is number 1,000.

The 2022 IMSA GTLM Editions were offered in both Hypersonic Gray and Accelerate Yellow and buyers could choose between a Coupe and Convertible model. Now that all 1,000 C8.Rs have been built, we look forward to learning more about the breakdown between body styles and colors.

While all the IMSA GTLM C8.R editions have been spoken for, you can still win a Hypersonic Gray Convertible C8.R Edition from our friends at the International Motor Racing Research Center at Watkins Glen.
