Callaway Partners With Thompson Speedway to Develop Track Delivery Experience

Callaway owners will be able to pick up their new rides and enjoy a unique delivery experience at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, as a result of the new partnership between two Connecticut-based companies, Callaway Cars Inc. and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.

Current Callaway owners as well as new buyers will be able to use Thompson facilities to make owning their high-performance vehicles even more enjoyable.

“Thompson has been a motorsports institution in the Northeast for decades,” Callaway Cars Inc. founder Reeves Callaway said. “The time was right for us to formalize a partnership. Each of us have our own assets to bring to the table, and we’re looking forward to working together.”

Jonathan Hoenig, CEO of Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, called it a “classic win-win for both of us,” with Callaway providing TSMP with “valuable technical and marketing support” and the Park providing Callaway with “an excellent venue for their product development and promotion.”

As part of the Track Delivery option, Callaway staff will work with Thompson personnel to provide new owners with a comprehensive introduction to their cars. The Delivery Team will guide new owners through the features and capabilities of their Callaway Corvette or Callaway Camaro and show them how their cars can perform in actual on-track conditions. Owners will also receive private track sessions with personal driving instructor support with their new Callaway, and a factory engineer will show them how to get the most from their car’s added performance. Also included is full access to the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park paddock area along with lunch with the Callaway team.

Roger Jou, a new Callaway Corvette owner, says it’s hard to put into words “how awesome the experience was.”

“What made this experience most memorable were all the great people involved in the process,” Jou added. “Having a phenomenal driving instructor with all the support of the Callaway team and racetrack staff made this the best automotive experience I have had to date.”
