Despite losing several weeks of production during the 2nd quarter due to supply chain issues, Chevrolet still managed to sell 7,971 Corvettes during three-month period of April, May, and June. While we know it could have been more, we are now seeing that it was enough to dominate the 2nd Quarter sales charts for premium sports cars in the United States.
When we say that the Corvette dominated the Sales Charts, we mean it! The Corvette outsold all these rival sports cars combined for the quarter which include Porsche, Mercedez-Benz AMG, Audi, Nissan, Acura, Ford and BMW:

The Corvette also had the most impressive comeback from Q2 2020’s figures which saw major reductions in sales across the board. The Corvette nearly doubled its segment share from 34% in the 2nd Quarter of 2020 to 62% in Q2 2021.
