Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
It’s Bash week at the National Corvette Museum and if you are planning on attending, make sure you introduce yourself to Mike who will be attending the show. This week’s Delivery post shares some of the great Corvette people he has met over the years, both from GM as well as some well-known personalities from their respective fields. Mike’s delivery post this week features a fabulous round-up of new 2021 Corvettes in multiple colors and configurations. Red Mist sure is a pretty color, and very popular as you will see. ~This week I will be attending The Corvette Bash, held each year at the National Corvette Museum (I leave April 20th- and fly home late on the 23rd)…well last year it was held virtually so it will be good to be back on site. Some Corvette deliveries this past week…
~Dan M. of Tequesta, Florida factory ordered his new Torch Red 2021 Corvette Convertible to be drop-shipped at his local Chevrolet dealer in Stuart, Florida and he took delivery this week. This Corvette will match up nicely against his brother’s Ferrari! This is Dan’s very first Corvette so give him a big wave! Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Natural dipped interior, body-color accents, chrome badges, front lift, CF Instrument trim, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, and much more.
~Marcello, Peggy and Bailey C. of North Canton, OHIO came in today to take delivery of their long-awaited Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible. I met Marcello and Peggy a couple of years ago at the Corvette Bash held at the Corvette Museum. Super nice folks and their King Charles Cavalier is also named Bailey like our 1-year-old puppy. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, CF Nacelles/roof, CF Instrument panel, edge red calipers, CF Wheels, cf mirrors and red stitching. This is their 4th Corvette, the others were C2,C6,C7 and now C8. The Beatles were on the radio as they drove Off. Email from the customer:
“Mike I wanted to Thank you for being such a great person to work with through this crazy launch of the C8 . I know your overwhelmed but you did a good job of keep me informed any time I asked questions.

~ Stuart and Susan F. of The Villages, Florida are big Corvette fans and have owned many Corvettes over the last several decades. This past week I had their Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at a Plant City Chevrolet dealer near their Florida home. Equipment list: 3 LT pkg, Black interior, red stitching, CF Painted Nacelles and body color roof, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, spectra gray wheels, and much more. I know the two of them will thoroughly enjoy their new Corvette.
~Fred and Marion Z. of Laurel, Maryland picked up their third Corvette this week, C5, C7 and now a C8. They factory ordered a Torch Red 2021 Corvette Convertible with Natural interior. Even at 85 years young they couldn’t wait to drop the top on their new Corvette. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, magnetic select ride, performance exhaust and CF Wheels.
~Gary W. of Darien, Connecticut brought his daughter Caroline to Criswell this week to pick up his 2nd Corvette, his last was a 3rd generation beauty long ago. Gary met up with my brother at 8 yrs old which means I was 3. They were the best of friends for decades until my brother passed 10 + years ago. You could say Gary was a Furman family member, like a brother to me forever. Gary’s new 2021 coupe is Silver Flare metallic With Black interior. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, CF Wheels, and much more! Gary had a phenomenal 45-year career with Mercedes Benz.
~Shahzad I. of Allen, Texas and his brother both put deposits down on new Corvette orders and Shahzad’s won the race by about 10 days. We completed the paperwork/payment process via FedEx and tomorrow Plycar trucking will load up and enclose trailer his C8 to his Texas home. Sebring Orange 2021 Corvette Convertible with Sky cool gray and Black two-tone interior looks amazing, especially with Orange seatbelts!! Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 seats, CF Painted Nacelles/roof, magnetic select ride, bright red calipers, CF Painted wheels, CF Mirrors, and much more. Criswell service added the tall spoiler.
~Glenn M. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida factory ordered his Corvette to come to Criswell and then he dispatched a trucking company to bring it South to his Florida home…but not before he sailed to the Bahamas and back! We completed the paperwork via Fed Ex and he should be sailing in his new Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convertible any moment now…and often. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, CF Nacelles and body-color roof, front lift, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, cf wheels, cf mirrors, Z51 pkg, and red stitching on his Black interior. I spoke to him on the phone yesterday and he is thrilled with his new Corvette.
~John K. of Seffner, Florida ordered his Silver Flare 2021 Corvette Convertible to be drop-shipped for courtesy delivery so I had it set up at a Chevrolet dealer in Plant City, FL. Equipment list: two-tone Adrenaline Red/black interior, 2LT Pkg, GT2 buckets, magnetic select ride, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, and CF Painted wheels. I am sure the top will be down a lot!

~Local Potomac, Maryland businessman has his new Arctic White 2021 Corvette Z51 Convertible all set to ship to his Naples, Florida home. Criswell service installed the high wing spoiler and visible carbon fiber ground effects pkg and tinted windows. 3LT pkg and loaded.
~This past Tuesday after all my onsite deliveries I hopped in my Corvette and drove across the state 55 miles to the corvette Club of Annapolis meeting. Tom Morris, the owner of The Chesapeake Car Wash in Annapolis invited me as his guest. Tom recently bought a C7 Z06 along with a Silverado from me and his fiance bought an Equinox from me a few months ago. 75 club members attended the meeting tonight and many of my Corvette customers were in attendance. I had a fantastic time. Tom also does Play by play support for the Washington Capitals and he had to do the Caps game remotely from his office this evening. Check out Tom’s Stanley Cup Championship ring!

Allocation system sucks! Put order in on 1/20/20 still getting the run around from my dealer! I will take my 10k deposit back and keep my C7.
