[VIDEO] Demonstration of Stealth Mode on the 2020 Corvette

The C8 Corvette seems to have a “mode” for just about any kind of driving experience you could ask for including the programmable MyMode and Z-Mode that allow you to customize your settings. There is even a mode you can use for nighttime driving and giving your eyes a break from the C8 Corvette’s illuminated cockpit.

On his recent mission to the NCM, CorvetteBlogger contributor Jeremy Welborn captures the change in the Corvette’s fighter jet-inspired cockpit as he activates “stealth mode”. The setting allows you to darken all ambient light in the cabin with the exception of the Corvette’s speedometer that’s displayed on the 12-inch driver information center.

This photo shows the Corvette’s cockpit fully illuminated during nighttime driving, and then below that is the car in Stealth Mode:

  1. C7 has the same option by turning down/off the brightness on the instrument cluster. Great option for night driving especially with HUD.
