[VIDEO] 2020 Corvette Attacks Ferrari and McLaren on the Track

YouTuber Speed Phenom has another track video served up for fans as he takes his Torch Red 2020 Corvette Z51 Coupe back to Willow Springs for another open track date. Last time he was out on the track, he was putting down some great times as well as keeping us entertained as he followed a Porsche GT3 RS lap after lap.

The great thing about Speed Phenom’s videos is that he goes straight to the action. After a quick intro on the way to Willow Springs, we see the Red Z51 Coupe roll onto the raceway and immediately comes up on the back of a black Ferrari. A few laps later he comes up on the back of a McLaren who didn’t seem as anxious to keep up with the pace being set by the Stingray.

As always, the 495-hp LT2 engine sounds great on those full-throttle runs down the straights and he’s taking corners at 85+ mph and the car is just sticking to the pavement.

At the end of the run, Speed does a debrief of the car’s performance and then closes with wondering how good the C8 Corvette Z06 might be with a flat-plane crank V8 engine.
