We have previously featured the work of gabe.design and his renders of the C8 Corvette. FYI, Gabe must be pretty stoked these days as his Black 2020 Corvette on order has a TPW of 3/2 which is coming up this week! If you remember, he did that fantastic render of the slammed C8 Corvette on C4 wheels that we loved so much and now we have something new.

He recently presented his render of the C8 Corvette Z06 and instead of going the “wild design” route, Gabe takes into account what he thinks the car will really look like as designed by Chevrolet. And in that regard, we think the Instagrammer has nailed it.

We like the front splitter and the side rockers that stretch the entire length of the car. Obvious is the wider side scoop and there’s a hint of a vent and perhaps a Z06 badge on the front quarter panel. The black wheels have become the top seller for Chevrolet in recent years and we like how these fill the widebody’s wheel arches.

90% sure this is what the C8 Z06 will look like. What do you think? #C8 #corvetteC8 #c8corvette #corvette #C8Z06 #Z06

  1. I would love to see the next Z06 come as close as possible to the styling on the C8R.
It needs to have dual dive planes on both front fenders, hot air relief venting on the front hood
and a vent opening high on the front fender right behind the wheel opening. A Z06 badge
could be tied into the front fender vent. The car needs to have larger wheels and tires
front and back covered by flared fenders. A larger inlet vent in the doors and larger vents
in the rear fascia would take care of cooling issues of the flat-plane V8. Finish it off with
a huge high wing in back. Chevrolet could do a special collector version in the C8R colors.
