Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
As we come to the end of the C7 generation, Mike shares some of his own throwback photos to when his dealership received the final batch of 60th Anniversary 2013s. When other dealers didn’t want them, Criswell took them all and guess what, every single one of them was sold to a happy buyer! In this week’s report, Mike shines the spotlight on an Elkhart Lake Blue Corvette Grand Sport. And speaking of throwbacks, Mike also shares a couple photos of Mr. Frank Class who purchased several Corvettes from Mike over the years and who the throwback portion of is weekly posts is named after. Be like Mr. Class and tell Mike which is your favorite from this week’s collection.

~I’ve sold through many ends of Corvette generations over the last 42+ years and you would think this one is no different…but I feel it is. Maybe it’s because of the internet as it announces/posts every move or picture. So I ask myself is it bigger for the mid-engine or no more manual transmission? I’d say the answer is clearly mid-engine because the amount of folks complaining about the lack of a third pedal is minimal. Plus the Corvettes move to mid-engine is historic and decades in the making. The C7 convinced many of the foreign car buyers that the Corvette was a serious contender for World-Class Sportscar status and the 8th Generation Corvette will bowl everyone over. The ride in this new Corvette is like no other. Get ready for the many accolades it will receive far and wide.

~William T. of Bend, Oregon has been following my deliveries for years on the various forums and he gave me a call looking for a very rare color combo and transmission that he was seeking. William has owned 6 other Corvettes, 62,64, 2 66’s, 17GS, 16 Z06 and now this 19 GS in Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic with Adrenaline Red interior and 7spd manual transmission. We completed the paperwork/payment via Fed Ex and this week Plycar trucking will enclose trailer his new Corvette the 2,700 miles to his home in Oregon! This is a 1LT pkg with Red calipers and black wheels. Bill is over the moon with this color combo, price, and manual transmission. More stunning in person.
*The first two pictures is of Frank Class himself as he picked up one of the many Corvettes that he purchased yearly from me…In total Frank had owned over 50+ Corvettes in his lifetime and when he passed he still owned the 1957 Corvette that he had bought brand new!
