  1. Have made a 1k deposit on one, dealer assures me I will get one. But no official notifications or anything else confirming this. I tend to think dealer is saying this so I don’t walk away. I am retired G.M. and have purchased many new G.M. vehicles by ordering almost all. This is the first time I have not been able to get any kind of commitment from G.M. and find it very frustrating.

  2. Ronald, I have been ordering G M cars, many cars since my first Chevrolet Malibu since 1965 now you want to talk about frustrating. I will be just happy to keep my 2019 G S coupe! Well I should add that here in Canada it is just beyond frustrating dealing with G M!. Barry Renaud Corvette Club Of Windsor Ontario.

  3. I agree, I have bought close to 25 new vehicles from G.M. in my life and never experienced this before. I always thought you ordered your vehicle and then you are placed in line for build. I ordered a 2010 SS Camaro when they were hot and built in Canada and never had these current problems. But what do I know, I am 67 years old and don’t think I want to wait 2-3 years to get my hands on a new C8.

  4. I work at a Chevy dealership and you can fully spec your C-8 Corvette with price and place your order with the dealer. The dealers are only allotted so many C-8’s that’s why it is so important to secure your order. My dealership only has 3 spots left of 22 available. The C-8 will start being built in early December and dealerships should start receiving them around mid January.

  5. What dealership? I would be more than happy to order one, I live in Saginaw, Mi. are you near me?
