Our friend Adam Boca of the NCM Insurance Agency posted some photos on the Corvette Forum of the C8 Corvettes that’s he has run across in Bowling Green including the Black Stingray Coupe that’s been haunting our dreams lately.
He also sent me another photo of the same car in camouflage as they are wearing the same license plate and remarked how neat it was to see “before and after” photos of the car.
I knew I had seen that camo photo before and even better, remembered that it was Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles who had been spotted in the car on several occasions.
Not that I am already nostalgic for the camouflaged C8 prototypes, but I do agree with Adam that it’s just cool seeing the transformation of how the same car looked wrapped in camo versus the painted exterior.
So here’s a few pics of the Black Corvette Stingray with the Michigan Manufacturer Plate 059 668:
The Black Corvette Stingray is now back in Bowling Green where it has been sighted several times over the last week or so. These cars are preproduction models and will eventualy be crushed. Harlan has since moved on to another camouflaged prototype – this time a Sebring Orange Corvette Convertible:
