Coy Bowles of the Zac Brown Band Drives the Corvettes at Spring Mountain

Guitar and keyboardist Coy Bowles of the Zac Brown Band recently celebrated his 40th birthday by heading out to the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, NV.

Coy says that driving a Corvette on a racetrack has been a bucket list item of his and he was anxious to get out onto the track for the first time and do some maneuvering!

Spring Mountain sent us this video showing Coy Bowles doing exactly that. The slide-guitarist starting off behind the wheel of an Arctic White Stingray to perform some of the braking and handling exercises before heading out onto the track for some lead-follow behind the talented instructors who can be heard providing feedback over the radios.

So what did Coy have to say about his experience at the Ron Fellow’s High Performance Driving School?

“Operation check off bucket list ‘Drive Corvettes on a Racetrack’ completed. It was killer and I had so much fun. If you ever get a chance, you got to come and check this place out.”

We couldn’t agree more! Check out Coy’s fun “bucket list” checkoff video from Spring Mountain:
