[VIDEO] Chazcron Shares New Rotating C8 Body in Clay Rendering

Here’s a different take at rendering the C8 mid-engine Corvette from Chazcron and the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com.

Utilizing his 3D model of the 2020 Corvette, Chazcron strips it down to just the body and imagines the bodywork in clay.

The tilting and rotation of the model give us a unique look at all sides plus top and bottom.

While visiting the MECF, I also noticed this new Chazcron render showing the turn signal indicator on the side door mirror. That feature came to light following after new spy photos captured the 2020 Corvette near the Milford Proving Grounds outside of Detroit. Here’s what Chazcron says about it:

I studied and decided the mirrors I made three months ago were lacking and in “light” of the LED turn signal, I concluded that the upper oval shape I used in the black support bracket was just cardboard covering the LED strip. If that goes away, then the top meets the bottom in a smooth fashion. I now believe that the mirror bracket will be body colored. The accompanying image was one I used to refine the shape. Even though it doesn’t have the LED visible, it is extremely high resolution. You can see the bump where the bracket meets the mirror housing.

Both the video and the image renders are amazing artistically and the amount of time that Chazcron has dedicated to exploring the C8 Corvette is very impressive.
