National Corvette Museum's Kartplex Reopens on March 2nd


If the winter weather has you eager for some exciting fun outdoors, how about taking a spin on the National Corvette Museum Kartplex track?

The popular Bowling Green attraction will be re-opening for public “arrive and drive” races four days a week during March, starting Saturday, March 2.

You can schedule private group events, from birthday parties to corporate outings, seven days a week all year long by calling (270) 777-4509.

Public hours during March are noon to 5 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. All times are CST.

If you’re making a special trip, you might want to check the Kartplex Facebook page where closings due to inclement weather will be posted. You can also call the above phone number to make sure the track will be available when you’re planning to visit.

Rates are $20 per race for Adult & Junior Karts, but new this year, you can buy tokens for two races for $35 per person (good for one year from the date of purchase). You can also rent a Two-Seater Kart for $25 per race.

Closed-toe shoes are required for all participants. In addition, special rules apply for kids, with anyone 17 years or younger required to have a guardian present to sign a minor waiver. Minimum height to ride passenger in Two-Seater Kart is 42″. Minimum height to drive Junior Karts is 48”. Minimum height to drive Adult Karts is 60” or must have a valid driver’s license if the height requirement is not met.
