I was cruising through Facebook late last night when I came across this Corvette for sale ad from our friend Berry Lowman.
The ad is for a silver 2009 Corvette ZR1 with only 24,875 miles on the odometer and it has been aggressively priced at $52,000 for a quick sale. The original owner has recently picked up his new 2019 Corvette ZR1 so the C6 ZR1 has to go!
Ten years ago Chevrolet unleashed the 638-hp Corvette ZR1 to much acclaim. A total of 1,415 were produced in 2009 and only 69 were Blade Silver. The MSRP on this Blue Devil ZR1 was $116,000 and its loaded with the 3ZR package and chrome wheels. Maintenance records were meticulously recorded in the owners manual and it comes with its original documentation.
Did we mention the seller only wants $52K for the car! We went looking for some recent sales of ZR1s and it reinforces our belief that the car is priced for a quick sale.
We featured a 400-mile 2009 ZR1 last month from BringATrailer that sold for $60,500. Mecum sold a 179-mile 2009 ZR1 at Kissimmee for $82,500. A quick search of eBay shows three 2009 ZR1s for sale with two priced in the $60s and the third is priced in the mid $80s.
