The California High Patrol wants you to slow down out there and they are willing to mock you if you don’t!
Check out this tweet today after a CHP officer in the Dublin Area napped a black C6 Corvette driver for 110 mph today:
Hmmm…110mph on Bryon Highway today? Wow, so impressive! Just think if you could tell someone you went 110 today. Wouldn’t it feel so cool? NOT! Totally stupid and irresponsible. Thankfully one of our motor officers was there to catch this person. #slowdown #stupid pic.twitter.com/PpvpmB1UOg— CHP Dublin Area (@CHPDublin) January 21, 2019
If the speed limit was 70, then a ticket for speeding 26+ mph over the limit in California will set you back nearly $500 or more depending on the location and various fees that are tacked on to the ticket.
I’m sure that C6 Corvette was nice and smooth at 110 mph but our advice is to slow it down and be safe out there!
