Registration for the Corvette Museum's Michelin NCM Bash is Now Open

Now that the new year is here, the National Corvette Museum has opened the registration for the annual Michelin NCM Bash that will be held April 25-27, 2019 in Bowling Green, KY.

The NCM Bash is always one of our favorite events of the year because you can learn so much from the various seminars as well as from the many Corvette Team members that are usually on hand. The saying around the Corvette Hobby is that you come for the car but you come back for the people and that’s certainly true with the NCM Bash event

The 2019 NCM Bash may be a bit more special this year if (and that’s a big IF right now) a certain next-generation Corvette is revealed prior to the date. Of course, we’d love to see the C8 Mid-Engine’s reveal at the Museum itself, but that probably isn’t the case. Even if the car hasn’t been revealed, the NCM Bash remains one of the “can’t miss” shows of the year.

The organizers of the NCM Bash have some great seminars planned for Corvette enthusiasts as well. Of course, you’ll get a “What’s New” seminar from members of the Corvette Team, plant manager Kai Spande’s update from the Corvette Assembly Plant, and a two-fer from Dr. Fehan who will host both a Corvette Racing seminar and a dinner banquet. New this year will also mark the return of the now-retired Jim Mero who will talk about his experiences in testing Corvettes on the Nurburgring.

GM World Class Technicians Paul Koerner and Brittany George will be hosting a variety of seminars about the car and maintenance of C5-C7 Corvettes and one seminar is dedicated to prepping your Corvettes for the track.

Several road tours during the Bash are also planned with groups taking in tours of a distillery, Mammoth Cave Park, a trip to Nashville, and the Kentucky State Police summer camp for kids called Trooper Island. If you feel the need for speed, the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park is hosting their Corvette Experience where you can drive their Corvette Stingrays around the 3.15-mile road course, our you can take in some touring laps with an all-day price of $99.

You can check out the entire schedule of events here.

Not only will your’s truly be there covering all the great events, but I will also be doing some signings for the NCM Corvette Store sometime during the week in support of my new book, Corvette Special Editions!

Registration for the Michelin NCM Bash is online and the costs are $15 for Lifetime members, $20 for NCM Members, & $30 for Non-Members.
