Corvette Special Editions Reviewed by Martyn Schorr’s Car Guy Chronicles

While writing my book on Corvette Special Editions, I knew I wanted to include a chapter on Motion Performance and the Baldwin-Motion Corvettes in the section of Third Party and Tuner Editions. So I turned to Martyn Schorr who was right in the middle of it all as he handled all the advertising and creating the catalogs featuring the monster 427 Corvettes and Camaros available through the Baldwin-Motion partnership.

Marty was a huge help with the project. His book, “Motion Performance – Tales of a Muscle Car Builder” provided a great snapshot of the horsepower era and many of his classic photos are featured throughout the chapter showing Joel Rosen as well as many of the creations from Motion Performance including the Phase III GT, the Motion Maco Shark, and the Manta Ray.
