Join the National Corvette Museum for the second annual Corvette Racing Weekend to be held November 9th and 10th at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey, PA. Members of the Corvette Racing team include Doug Fehan and Tommy Milner who will be joined by Michelin’s Lee Willard and Corvette engineer Alex MacDonald.
The Corvette Racing Weekend features a Friday evening (Nov 9th) reception and buffet dinner featuring Doug Fehan and Tommy Milner beginning at 6:15 pm. Joining Doug and Tommy will be NCM HOF member Gary Claudio and Alex MacDonald, GM Head of Vehicle Performance. The evening will close with an autograph session. Friday tickets are $75 for General Admission and include Saturday admission. Also included is admission to the AACA Museum.
Please note that tickets for Friday’s dinner event must be purchased in advance, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket sales for the dinner end on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
On Saturday (Nov 10), there is a full slate of Corvette Racing discussions and seminars from 8:00am to 3:00 pm. Saturday’s schedule includes:
- Doug and Tommy hosting a Corvette Racing Q&A Session.
- Auction of Corvette Racing memorabilia
- Lee Willard, Chief Michelin Corvette Tire Engineer, speaking on the company’s latest Corvette tire technology
- Doug and Gary on Corvette Racing from a historical perspective
- Alex MacDonald on vehicle development
- Event will end with an autograph session
Saturday only tickets are $35.
Another fun event new for this year is a Friday Poker Run that will include a tour of the Yuengling Brewery and Jerry’s Classic Cars Museum in Pottsville, PA. Lunch and a Yuengling goodie bag is included in the event fee of $25 per person. The Poker Run will start at the AACA Museum parking lot on Friday at 8am and will finish in plenty of time to relax before Friday evening’s Corvette Racing Dinner.
NCMs board of directors member Wes Wong sent us this photo of one of the great items that will be offered at the Corvette Racing auction. This is Antonio Garcia’s race suit from the 2018 Championship season and you can see it has been signed by the driver.
