[ACCIDENT] Corvette Stingray Hits a Nissan In Front of a Chevrolet Dealership

If you have to wreck your Corvette Stingray, perhaps there’s no better place than right in front of your Chevy dealership.

That’s what happened early Monday morning – around 7:26 a.m. to be exact, according to reporter Phil Anderson of The Topeka Capital-Journal’s cjonline.com – when a white C7 coupe and a copper Nissan Sentra collided on a rainy day in south Topeka, Kansas.

Police said that the Corvette was traveling north on Topeka Boulevard when the driver turned left in front of the Nissan, apparently on his way into the Ed Bozarth Chevrolet dealership at 3731 S.W. Topeka Blvd.

Fortunately, the two vehicles must have been going slowly enough that the Corvette driver was not injured at all and the Nissan driver was carried to a local hospital for observation, apparently with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.

Anderson reported that the Corvette – which looks to have suffered only minor damage to the right front fender, based on a photo from the scene – had already been driven into a bay at the dealership some 20 minutes after the accident. “Change the oil and buff that fender while you’re at it, my good man!”
