It’s a Corvette owners’ worst nightmare.

This mid-1970’s Corvette went up in flames on the side of the road as the owner was headed for the 40th Annual North Jersey Auto Show & Flea Market at Bergen Community College on Saturday morning in Paramus, NJ.

The fire appears to have started in the engine compartment of the light-colored C3 Corvette and pictures provided by The Daily Voice show massive fire damage to the hood and windshield.

The Corvette caught fire just south of Ridgewood Avenue on Route 17 on Paramus, NJ.

The North Jersey Auto Show and Fea Market is one of the largest one-day car show events in the tri-state area.
