Chevrolet Raises the Corvette's Mandatory Delivery Fee to $1,095

We’ve been hearing quite a bit about how Chevrolet has been discounting new Corvettes to spur sales. With current discounts and incentives, you can save thousands on the purchase of 2017 or 2018 Corvette models.

But did you hear that Chevrolet has raised its mandatory delivery charges for the sportscar?

Thanks to a tip from a Chevy sales rep who calls himself the Chevy Dude, we recently learned that Chevrolet has published a new price guide effective October 23, 2017, that raised the previous $995 mandatory delivery fee by $100. The new DFC charge for Corvettes built once the plant restarts (which it already has) is now $1,095.

We checked out the Corvette Configurator at Chevrolet.com and found that the delivery charge has been updated to the new $1,095.

Chevrolet has not yet released pricing for the 2019 Corvettes but we assume with the minimal updates that pricing will either remain the same, or we will see a similar price increase like Chevy did when they raised the 2018 prices by $45 over the 2017 models.

Expect 2019 Corvette pricing to come sometime in January 2018 but should they drop earlier, we’ll post the details as soon as they are revealed.

  1. Costs a lot more for diesel and tolls Gotta feed the donkey. And will Dealer Prep increase to strip off some plastic and run it through a car wash, check the oil, etc.?

  2. Just a back door way to increase profit per car. Fuel prices have been relatively stable and for every NCM delivery that $1095 delivery charge goes into GM’s pocket.
