Good news for those enthusiasts who love the National Corvette Museum’s NCM Motorsports Park but don’t have a Corvette to drive around the track.
The Motorsports Park has just received five Corvette Z51s that will be available for use on the track.
Two different options will be available, including Corvette Touring Laps for $199 and Corvette Experience for $599.
The lower-cost option begins Monday, July 10 and features four laps on the 3.15-mile road course in a lead-follow format.
The higher-cost option offers a more in-depth, hands-on experience. You’ll alternate three sessions of classroom time with tips from the pros and three 20-minute on-track sessions with you behind the wheel to see how much you learned! Sessions are set for Aug. 19, 20, and 30.

“We want to get somebody out there to enjoy the racetrack, enjoy the car, and learn a few things,” Mitch Wright, general manager, said. “And if they want to do that at 50 miles an hour, that’s fine; if they want to do that at 70 miles an hour, that’s fine too.”
If you want to drive your Corvette on the track, there are several opportunities coming up including the NCM Motorsports Park HPDE to be held on August 26-27 on the Grand Full Course. The HPDE is being held the weekend prior to the National Corvette Museum’s 23rd Anniversary Celebration over Labor Day weekend.
