Back in January the National Corvette Museum gave away a brand new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition what was ultimately won by our new friend Ken Pauley. Now they’re giving away another Collector Edition Grand Sport in a couple weeks at The Bash event.
This Grand Sport is a little different. The car is wearing VIN 003 and all of the requisite Collector Edition options. Under the hood you’ll find the 6.2 liter, 460hp LT1 engine this time mated to the 7-speed manual transmission. It’s also equipped with the multi-mode exhaust, Magnetic Selective Ride Control w/ Performance Traction Management, Carbon Flash ground effects, and the Competition Sport Seats. You’ll also get the 3LT trim package, navigation system, Performance Data Recorder, and the curb view front cameras.
The lucky winner will also participate in the RPO R8C Corvette Museum Delivery.
Only 1,000 Collector Edition Grand Sports will be built. All cars have Watkins Glen Gray Metallic paint, the Satin Black Grand Sport full-length racing stripe, Tension Blue hash marks, Carbon Flash badge package, and black wheels with black brake calipers. Inside Collector Edition Grand Sports receive the stunning two-tone Tension Blue seats, carbon fiber dash trim, premium floor mats with the Grand Sport Logo, and a numbered plaque showing where this car falls within the run of 1,000. This one shows the low, low VIN of 003.
This early Grand Sport will be given away at 3pm Central time on Friday April 28th during the National Corvette Museum’s Bash event. You can order your $200 ticket(s) here. Only 1,000 total chances to win will be available. As of April 13th, less than 300 tickets had been sold.
