Well it’s Monday again and that’s a bummer, but at least we’re staring down the barrel of a holiday weekend. The even better news is that it’s also time for another installment of Midyear Monday!

This time we’re featuring our first ever Bloomington Gold edition!

We just returned back from Bloomington Gold’s 2nd show at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As we nurse our Corvette hangover and light sunburn, let’s look back at some of our favorite 1963-1967 Corvettes from last weekend’s show.

C2’s were everywhere throughout the sprawling IMS complex. From the GoldMine to the autocross there were countless cars we wish we could have brought home. Even the Certification field seemed to have more second generation Corvettes than any others. Among the judged Corvettes were some of the nicest C2’s we’ve ever seen including Z06’s, fuelies, and the usual smattering of thumping big blocks.

We’ll have more from Bloomington Gold throughout the week so in the meantime enjoy our first ever Bloomington Gold flavored Midyear Monday.
